While we prefer to keep as few rules as possible (and we started out with zero), we have found it necessary over time to add rules to ensure the camping enjoyment for all.  Gateway Trails camp hosts work diligently to present a safe, clean, enjoyable, and attractive camping environment for all.  Please help by adhering to the following Terms & Conditions:

Safety:

·  Please abide by Leave No Trace principals. Please respect the property and be a good steward of the land and nature.

·  We have natural Florida woods on property, so please be aware of snakes, spiders, opossums, deer, mosquitos, ants, etc.

·  It is strictly prohibited to chop down trees, limbs, or other live vegetation on property. 

·  Trails are for campers’ use with non-motorized vehicles only.

·  No driving except on the established roadways. Driving in the main field within the campsite loop could cause extensive damage to the sewer system or your vehicle.  

Occupancy:

·  Check In: 2 pm, unless otherwise specified at your booking.  This is flexible if there is availability, but you must text or call to coordinate altering your times.

·  Check out: Noon. Again, we will be flexible if we are able.  Please coordinate with us.  

·  At check in, please provide names of all adult guests, cell #, email address, and license plate/state.

·  Camping limits:  We offer camping lot rentals 29 days or less at a time.  On occasion, we do offer multiple lot fee bookings in succession, up to ~5 before a break in stay is needed.  

·  Parking: No parking on the grass in the full hook up sites, or in the field.  If needed, please coordinate with camp hosts for additional parking spaces.  

Pets:

·  We are very pet friendly and pet fences are allowed and welcomed.  

·  Off leash time is possible; please coordinate with camp host.  Other than off leash coordination, dogs must always be in your immediate control and be kept on leash.  

·  Ensure you clean up after your pup.

General Rules:

·  Please see camp hosts for specifics if you would like to receive mail or packages during your stay with us.  If you do not coordinate with us first, it could result in lost packages/mail.

·  While guests are allowed and welcomed, it should be infrequent.  Lot fees are for 2 registered adults.

·  Booking reservations, and/or staying at, camping, or using any facilities at Gateway Trails constitutes acceptance of all the Terms and Conditions 

·  Gateway Trails is not responsible or liable for accidents, losses, or injury due to natural or abnormal occurrences, fire, failure of any utility, negligence of other guests, park maintenance, acts of God, or any other reason. 

·  Gateway Trails reserves the right to immediately cease any agreement(s) and trespass anyone from property for detrimental conduct and/or violating rules or Terms and Conditions.
